    Full GMC registration with a licence to practice

    CCT or equivalent

    Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it

    Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it

    Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

    We are currently recruiting to a Community Adult Perinatal Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Parent Infant Perinatal Mental Health Service. The main team base is at Barley Court, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford, Essex, IG3 8XJ. This post covers the London boroughs of Redbridge and Barking. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.

    You will join 2wte consultants, a Specialty Doctor, Senior Trainee and 1wte trainee doctors, within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

    Job responsibilities

    You will be expected to: Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across Redbridge and Barking. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata). Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative

    Work alongside 2wte consultants, a Specialty Doctor, Senior Trainee and 1wte Core Trainee
