    Registered Manager | Manchester City Centre

    *£30,000 (Dependant on relevant experience & desired salary)


    Tordan Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced, reliable and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our current office team in providing the best quality care for service users and support teams alike.

    *Job purpose:

    The Registered Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest possible standards of care and support, in line with CQC'S Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities).

    Th Care Act 2014.

    The Registered Manager is part of Tordan Healthcare Management Team and is expected to contribute to strategic planning and policy development and also to ensure that the aims and objectives of the company are fully met.

    *Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
    • Registered Manager Qualification or equivalent.
    • Management Experience.
    • Excellent Business Skills
    • Good numerical and word processing skills.
    • Friendly, confident, well presented and customer focused.
    • Professional telephone manner.
    • Genuine interest in working in a care setting supporting service users.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality in line with Tordan Healthcare's GDPR policies and procedures.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Team player, participates in creating a positive working environment and culture.
    • Ability to work on own initiative with excellent time management.
    • Good working knowledge of Care Standards Act 2000, The Health and Social Care Act 2008, (Regulated Activities) Regulation 2014, The Care Act 2014.
    • Full clean driving license.
    • Satisfactory DBS check.
    • Satisfactory references.
    *Main responsibilities:
    • To ensure our service revolves around the company core values: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Honest.
    • To ensure our service provision is person-centred, outcome based, flexible and tailored to meet clients individual requirements.
    • To ensure all aspects of CQC governance and compliance through the company's quality management audit system are implemented, monitored and actioned.
    • To ensure all documentation required by the CQC is up to date and available for inspection.
    • To actively seek views on service delivery from users, support workers, clients and other takeholders through quality surveys and report as appropriate.
    • To be responsible for investigating any incidents, concerns and complaints involving support workers and or clients, compiling such reports and reporting in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, and where necessary the recommendation to implementation of quality changes resulting in conclusion to a complaint.
    • To participate in the strategic planning of the organization and attend management and other relevant meetings as agreed.
    • To ensure adherence to the Company's confidentiality policy and all aspects of Data Protection.
    • To participate in the development, implementation and delivery of all companies policies and procedures.
    • To undertakes any other reasonable duties as required by the Managing Director.
    • To be expected to work flexible hours according to the needs of the service, including some evenings and weekends and be part of the "on call" and company "on call" back up system as agreed.


    The successful candidate will posses a calm caring personality with relevant communication skills, commercial awareness, working knowledge of relevant legislation, commitment to self development, along with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and key external stakeholders, as well as being able to demonstrate great management and leadership skills you will need to be experienced in running a care establishment and share our clients values of transparency, fairness and integrity.
