Are you an Operational Risk professional seeking a new, challenging role within financial services?


Our client is a customer centric, mortgage and savings provider, with a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Risk Manager to join their team.


This individual will be analytical, organised and solution focused, and be able to build key relationships while influencing change through risk management.

As part of the Risk and Compliance team, you will build connections across the organisation and establish,maintain and embed effective Operational Risk Management Frameworks.

Key duties of the Operational Risk Manager will include:

  • Responsible for the capture and management of the risk events escalation and reporting process throughout the company
  • Ensure that appropriate trends/ Ml are reported to the Deputy CRO and appropriate management committees
  • Responsible for the management of the organisations process for root cause analysis of risk events
  • The development, implementation and oversight of the effective embedding of the operational Risk Policy
  • The development, implementation, and oversight of the effective embedding of the stress testing and scenario analysis in relation to operational risk as part of the company's ICAAP
  • The management of the RCSA process and provide oversight of the output.

The successful individual will possess:

  • Previous experience within Operational Risk either as a Senior Analyst or with some management experience
  • A wealth of knowledge in Operational Regulatory Risk Frameworks


Whilst our client is based in Essex, they are happy to offer a very flexible approach to the working week.

You will only be required to attend the office for business needs.
