    We are in search of a Principal Systems Engineer for our Leidos engineering capability.

    The successful candidate will have a full understanding of the principles of systems engineering, will have prior experience as a Systems Engineer on a major programme involving accepting and integrating deliveries from suppliers.

    As a Systems Engineer in Leidos, you will be immersed in one of our key programmes – transformation of platforms to modern infrastructure.

    Using your experience in Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for working with customers and suppliers to execute/lead Systems Engineering activities across the full lifecycle.

    Applying your systems engineering knowledge to software-intensive & cloud hosted systems


    Systems Engineering knowledge:

    You must have demonstrable knowledge and experience of applying the development lifecycle, requirements management & design, and baseline management, with a solid understanding of the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook.

    You must be experienced with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
    A solid foundation in security principles and practices is essential.
    Familiarity with AWS based Cloud solutions.
    a flexible approach to working and be able to identify & implement process improvements.
    Able to make decisions that have an impact on the success of project objectives.
    Proactively assess and evaluate situations and risks.
