ER Recruitment are excited to be working exclusively with our client, East Midlands Chamber, an organisation with an outstanding reputation for supporting business growth throughout the East Midlands.

They are seeking a Sales & Marketing Director who has strong commercial acumen in a B2B market and has led teams to deliver growth through innovation.


Role & Responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Director:

  • Maintain and develop high level relationships with key stakeholders, clients, customers and suppliers to ensure optimum ROI in both directions
  • Lead on developing internal and external relationships to deliver an increase in budgets across membership sales, marketing and events
  • Develop and implement systems and processes for maximising sales
  • Work with the Head of Marketing on results driven marketing campaigns, communications, PR and events
  • Maximise visibility of the organisation's full portfolio of products and services to increase new membership sales, renewals and to maximise cross selling opportunities
  • Consistently review, refine and redevelop the current portfolio of products and services
  • Support and develop your team to meet optimum individual and company performance

About You as the Sales & Marketing Director:

  • Previous experience in a senior/Director level Sales role with excellent understanding of marketing, having led several teams simultaneously
  • Experience in driving high performance sales teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Outstanding commercial awareness, particularly of the Midlands
  • Proven background in strategy, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Driven to succeed and motivated to exceed while being versatile and robust
  • Selfstarter that can motivate others
