Remote Working (Leicester)

£25,000 - £30,000 p.a. DOE

ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, who offer a personalised employee benefits service to their clients nationwide and who are looking to expand their team with the appointment of an Account Manager.

With over 35 years' experience in theindustry amongst the Co-Founders alone, this opportunity is perfect for someone looking to grow and develop under the mentorship of industry leaders.


Role & Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Building long-term working relationships with clients and providers alike.
  • Shadowing our advisers, so you get a feel for what is involved in the daytoday activities of the role.
  • Manging a portfolio of PMI (private medical insurance) clients, seeking out opportunities for growth.
  • You will be responsible for dealing with the renewals, as well as the servicing a book of business.
  • You will be gradually introduced to products such as cash plans, dental, group travel, group life, group income protection and critical illness.
  • Training will be on the job, so you will be dealing with the products and providers from day one.

About You as the Account Manager:

  • Ability to take a pro-active approach to sales and developing relationships
  • Competent in maximising every sales opportunity, i.e. cross sales of different products into current clients.
  • Capable of communicating at all levels with providers and clients.
  • Well organised, manage your own time effectively and to be able to work under pressure.
  • Up to date knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues and the experience of working in a regulated industry.
  • Working to targets and the ability to demonstrate a goal focused approach.
  • To have experience working with business process and protocols.
  • PMI knowledge will be highly beneficial in this role.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
