Description
Working within the busy Supply CHain Team team at the Churchill Hospital. The R&D team are the single point for all deliveries made to the hospital site.

Along with ensuring that deliveries are being made to the correct location, the team are responsible for then delivering items to the teams across the clinical site.

The Operational team based at the Churchill Hospital requires a Materials Controller.


You will be responsible for collating the clinical consumable requirements for ward areas by means of electronic bar coding and uploading to a central system.


Good interpersonal, dexterity and numeracy skills are essential and computer literacy would be an advantage, although full training will be given.


The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

The Operational team based at the Churchill Hospital requires a Stores Operative to work as part of the Receipt & Distribution team.

The role is responsible for receiving, recording and distribution of all deliveries made to the Hospital site.


Good inter-personal, dexterity and numeracy skills are essential and computer literacy would be an advantage, although full training will be given.

The role does involve an element of manual handling with the appropriate equipment provided as needed.
