MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Sales Ledger Controller for a family owned, successful business on the outskirts of Chelmsford.

As a Sales Ledger Controller you will be responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the sales ledger and credit control function.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • The role will cover the UK business and the new subsidiaries in the EU and USA.
  • Managing the Amazon accounts for the UK, EU and USA.
  • Credit Control.
  • Managing the team inbox and ensuring all customer communications are actioned.
  • Reconciling and posting cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Opening new accounts.
  • Operating the Creditsafe credit information system and actioning annual account reviews and other risk concerns.
  • Managing account queries on the key customer accounts and ensuring all payments are made to terms on these customers.
  • Approval and processing of credit notes
  • Liaison with other departments and general support and cover for the team as needed.

Key Skills & Attributes:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • A strong team player
  • Good IT Skills
