Full time/permanent - 38 hours per week (Mon – Thurs: 8hrs/ Fri: 6 hrs – finish early)
You will be responsible for transforming Engineering design data into a production/manufacturing BOM and will work cross functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Programmes, Supply Chain and Planning.
You will be involved in creating operation routing step requirements based on its manufacture/assembly and how that communicates in the ERP system.
You will have an understanding of the engineering involved that creates the designs and how product data will flow though the business ensuring operation routings, sub assembly levelling and stock withdrawal is optimised.
Taking Production BOM and Routing Data and importing the data into the companies ERP system so that it can be used for Production Planning and Supply Chain Requirements.
The creation of RFID and ETSO labels for completed seat assemblies.Stock analysis and correction based on reviewed Item Master Data.
Time management to ensure BOMs and Item Data are available for customer demand.
Regular involvement in Planning and SIOP activities to understand the evolvement of items that may prompt an update to data and information.
To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your expertise within a BOM Configurator capacity along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:~ Experience with SolidWorks / PDM
~ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Word/Excel.
~ Experience and knowledge of document requirements and quality accreditation within the aerospace industry
Experience with Microsoft Business Central
