The Role:


We require experienced Mid to Senior-Level Fullstack Ruby on Rails Developers, who can assist in the development, testing, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the core platform whilst mentoring our junior team of developers.

The role will be based inLondon with requirements to work from the office 2 days per week or more if you'd like


Responsibilities:


  • Designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving the core platform
  • Use your voice Will be required to participate in product planning management discussions
  • Take part in code reviews to mitigate risks of inefficient code
  • Selfmanagement must be able to deliver features without the need for handholding
  • Training and mentoring of more junior developers

Requirements:


  • 3 to 5+ years' experience of Ruby on Rails Frontend, Backend or Fullstack
  • Experience with the full tech stack would be ideal this includes Ruby, Rails, Sidekiq, CSS, HTML & JavaScript, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, AWS, MongoDB, Redis, NodeJS, PHP, Python, Bash, etc
  • Experience with Linux, command line and Bash / Python scripting
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Understanding of data structures & algorithms, with awareness of security and performance issues
  • Familiarity with best practice coding standards
  • Selfmanagement and selfmotivation
  • Great English (verbal and written)
