    What are we Looking For?Job title: Installations SpecialistReports to: Head of EngineeringHours of Work: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday (between our operating hours of 8am to 6pm) + Occasional out of hours projects and implementations (agreed in advance and paid as overtime or time in lieu)What is the Role?As an Installations Specialist, you will be integral to the hands-on deployment and operational success of our technology solutions across client sites.

    You will work under the guidance of the Engineering Team, focusing on the physical setup of hardware and the initial install of software systems.

    Key Tasks & Accountabilitiesconfigure, and test hardware systems, including networking devices, PCs, mobile devices, AV, and telephony equipment.closely with the engineers to understand project requirements and technical installations meet dbfb's high standards for performance and inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation phase.detailed feedback and documentation to the Head of Engineering to support the 3rd line escalation process.a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients on log all on-site work accurately in the project management system to ensure traceability and training sessions to stay updated with the latest technologies and installation techniques.

    Experience:

    Installation:
    Proven experience in the installation and configuration of IT and telecommunications equipment, including but not limited to networking devices, PCs, mobile devices, and telephony equipment

    Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, such as IP networking, firewalls, and wireless technologies. Familiarity with different operating systems including Windows and MacOS is preferred.


    Experience:

    Experience working in the field, managing onsite installations, and dealing directly with client issues during the setup Reporting: Experience in providing detailed installation feedback, creating documentation, and maintaining project logs for effective communication and follow-up.
