Our client is a world leader in the development, design, and production of Micro Turbines for the telecom tower sector and due to the patented technology behind them they are revolutionising the distributed power generation sector through their vision toprovide cleaner and quieter power solutions.


They are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their team at their newly built state of the art facilities located in Warwick.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a British pioneer at the start of their journey who is experiencinglarge growth and is already a worldwide supplier and has distribution partnership agreements globally.


Main Duties of the Manufacturing Test Engineer:

  • Develop new end-of-line test specifications and equipment.
  • Helping to develop new inprocess testing equipment, including custom tools for internal technicians.
  • Supporting production test methods and tools for a wide range of hardware.
  • Assist in the process of moving product testing from the engineering development stage to the manufacturing environment.
  • Develop, scrutinise, and approve production test specifications.
  • Attend design reviews and push the design for prototyping and testing.
  • Oversee the introduction of software updates to the manufacturing and production environment as well as partaking in meetings for software releases.
  • Maintain manufacturing and production test fixtures and equipment, as well as assisting in the resolution of testrelated production challenges, such as those involving test and delivery software.

Deliverables of the Manufacturing Test Engineer:

  • Create and maintain reliable and cost-effective electronic manufacturing test procedures and product designs that follow lean manufacturing principles.
  • Take advantage of opportunities for progressing engineering projects, critical design reviews to aid in growth
  • Improve the manufacturability of new product development initiatives.
  • Develop/validate manufacturing Test processes and tooling to reach project targets in term of quality/cost/timing.
  • Keep up to date and propose new electrical test technologies and standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience of the Manufacturing Test Engineer:

  • Experience within Automotive/Aerospace environment.
  • Test or manufacturing background is desirable.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Experience in CAD software i:e CATIA, SOLID WORKS, AUTOCAD
  • Degree in a relevant field such as automotive, aerospace or Manufacturing.
  • Experience in using National Instrument Test Stand or LabVIEW
