    Highways Site Engineer

    Location:
    North Yorkshire


    Rate:
    £28.95 per hour umbrella


    Job Description:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Highways Site Engineer to join a local authority team in North Yorkshire.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing operational management and site engineering expertise for a range of highway-related projects.

    This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations of highways and construction works, directing both operatives and subcontractors.


    Key Responsibilities and Duties:
    Supervise and project manage schemes from implementation to handover, ensuring quality, budget control, safety, and compliance.
    Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
    Hold relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering or related field.
    Significant experience in highway/construction-related activities as a site engineer.
    Knowledge and understanding of NEC contracts.
    Experience in planning MSP and dealing with SCPs.
    Ability to manage and maintain accurate site records.
    Experience in measuring and claiming.
    Prepare HSEQ files.

    Requirements:
    Must have a valid driver's license
