Cloud Accounting Specialist

Taunton

C. £30,000 - £45,000

We have the pleasure of working with a new client with an impressive presence across the Southwest who have a unique and exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join their Business Innovation team as a Cloud Accounting Specialist, based out oftheir Taunton office.

The responsibilities:_
Responsible for full process Accounts preparation, tax computations and VAT returns.
General bookkeeping duties and management information preparation using both Excel and specialist software.
Involvement with all divisions across all the Southwestern offices with software support.
Responsibility for client software implementation, training and Cloud migration services, system optimisation services including integration, along with continued accounting software support.
Involvement in digital transformation projects as needed and proactive development of internal processes and training information.
ACA/ACCA qualified would be preferable, or in the process of studying towards either qualification. Qualified by experience would also be considered.
Xero Payroll certification would be desirable.
Working knowledge of but to limited to Sage and Xero.
Excellent technical knowledge of accounts preparation, tax compliance, both business and personal tax regulations, VAT, PAYE and CIS.
Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
Excellent communication skills both internally and externally, via all communication methods.
A teamcentric and focused attitude, with a proactive and methodical approach.
The ability to prioritise and adapt to everfluctuating workloads and adhering to strict deadlines.
