We are seeking an experienced
Legal Biller for a
15 Month Contract appointment due to an internal move, but a genuine opportunity to become a permanent addition to the Finance Team.

We will consider London or Peterborough as your assigned office and at the moment the position is office based.


Responsibilities:

• Provide a high quality service to the firm by working with the Revenue Manager to ensure accurate invoices are issued to customers/clients.
• Work with Fee Earners and other members of the business to provide a first class billing service for the firm.
• Ensure all financial data is accurately captured in the financial systems.
• Ensure any agreed client fee arrangements or billing deadlines are complied with.
• Deal with the requests and queries sent to the Billing team in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide WIP reports and liaising with Fee Earners to maximize their billing revenue.
• Investigate legacy issues and provide critical thinking in helping to resolve/dig into problem areas.
• Have working knowledge of Legal Aid billing.
• Be competent in Microsoft Office.
