    Description
    We're a luxury furniture maker who work with an international client base.

    We are an ambitious organisation who are passionate about the industrial heritage of the region, which plays a key role in inspiring what we do.

    Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' worth of relevant industry experience and ideally have a good understanding of metalworking (although not essential).

    Have a minimum of 5 years' worth of workshop-based professional experience.
    Have a valid UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
    Be able to commute to our workshop in Northeast England or be able to relocate within 1 month.
    Have experience working with bespoke furniture commissions.
    Experience with a variety of fabrication techniques and technologies, including traditional hand tools and modern digital fabrication equipment.
    Strong technical skills in woodworking or other relevant crafts.

    Be willing and able to take instruction from the company Directors, and Workshop Manager, but to also be proactive and self-motivated.

    Possess deep enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for making furniture.
    General furniture making.
    Assembly of complex items, involving multiple materials such as stones, glass, mirror.
    Apply finishes, such as patinas, stains, varnishes, or lacquers to enhance the appearance of the furniture.
    This may include woodworking, metalworking, or other skills.
    Manage projects through to all stages of manufacturing, finishing, and packaging.
    Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, including design iterations, materials used, fabrication processes. This role offers a real opportunity to evolve and grow, both in responsibility and salary.
