Senior Procurement ManagerLocation: Brighton ( 1 or 2 days a week in the Brighton office) otherwise home based

£ £70 000/ annum + Bonus + Share OptionsTimely Recruit is recruiting for an Energy Procurement/ Department Manager to work for a leading and fast growing Consultancy. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience of working for another Energy Broker.
Our client will consider someone willing to relocate and will provide a relocation package - that will be discussed.


Job Description:

The role is client facing, requiring ongoing management of strong client relationship and supporting the sales team on new bids and upsells.

As the Energy Procurement Department Manager, you will be responsible toManaging and motivating the procurement and bill validation teamTendering Flex contracts Fixed energy procurement.

Understanding of Energy Trading - experience of energy trading would be ideal.
Developing and mentoring a team of 9.

Holding key client relationshipsManaging supplier relationshipsFlex Procurement strategies and tradingFixed Energy procurementTender analysisMarket analysis and communicationCompliance reporting management such as SECR and ESOSPortfolio / data managementExperience and Attributes:
A head for numbers.
Energy ProcurementExperience of working for another Energy Broker.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Flex and Flexible procurement is very important.
Managing Client relationshipsTendering Fixed and Flex ContractsGas and Power/ Electricity Procurement experience.
Management/procurement of baskets.
