    About the role

    Due to continued growth, we have a great opportunity for driven individual to join our successful St Andrews branch in this newly created role of Sales Consultant. It's an exciting time to join the team and be part of our ongoing growth ambitions.

    As the Sales Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for all enquiries, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the local property market and an ability to proactively match applicant needs to suitable properties, both on and off-market.

    By building great relationships with our buyers through regular contact, you also proactively identify potential sellers in our buyer database, generating new business for the branch and other teams.

    About you

    As well as being sales driven, you'll be customer focussed and demonstrate strong skills in collaboration, communication, problem-solving, planning & organising. Bringing a positive mindset to everything you do; you'll strive to go above and beyond and be self-motivated to meet and exceed targets and contribute towards the branch goals.

    Key responsibilities

    • Greeting clients and providing a first point of contact to all enquires, including Home Report and property information requests
    • Building positive relationships with clients through regular phone and email contact
    • Generating market appraisal appointments
    • Carrying out property match searches in our database (Reapit) for all new property launches.
    • Arranging viewings into the Viewing Agents diary
    • Understand regulatory compliance requirements and assist the sales team in ensuring these are met including Anti Money Laundering, Data Protection and CPR/ BPR
    • Assisting with property marketing activities and invoicing
    • Contributing content for the social media profile of the branch using relevant platforms
    • Ensuring accuracy of data input into our property database

    Key requirements

    • Driving licence
    • Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Teams, Word, Excel & Outlook
    • Proven ability to deliver exceptional standards of customer service
    • Proven ability to develop customer relationships to generate business
    • Knowledge, and experience, of the residential sales processes within the Scottish market (desirable)
    • Prior experience of Reapit or a comparable database product (desirable)
