Our client who is based in South Normanton, Derbyshire are looking for a Planning and Operations Administrator to join their team.


In this role, you will be responsible for planning and support administration in relation to the delivery of core business operations.

This will include the use and management of MIS and planning tools, customer communication and sales support.


Your responsibilities as the new Planning and Operations Administrator:

  • Initiate calls with established and potential customers to determine opportunity, competitive situation, objections and effectively communicate the features and benefits of our client's services.
  • Raise and manage purchases orders in support of normal business operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple contacts (both internal and external) and have contact with Key accounts.
  • Project manage larger quotations and coordinate with other areas of the business so that they can address actions accordingly to secure/win the sale.
  • Provide administrative support to the business.
  • Technical knowledge to advise and guide clients, drawing information to enable correct detail of works required for quotation purposes.
  • General administration duties to cover the planning and operations team leader as and when required.
  • Invoice Queries, chasing overdue and outstanding payments.
  • Maintain and update planning tool with relevant details and information.

Your Key Skills as the new Planning and Operations Administrator:

  • Ability to have timely phone calls and interaction with staff and suppliers and customers at all levels.
  • Able to use your initiative in attaining the business goals.
  • Good attention to detail and organisation of work
  • Able to react to rapidly changing customer requirements and plan.
  • Excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
  • Persistence and determination
  • Willingness and flexibility where jobs do not fit precisely to core hours.
  • Must have Planning experience

About the role:


  • Monday
  • Friday (Full time permanent)
  • 8:00am
  • 17:00pm with 1 hour's lunch
- £27,564 per annum
