Are you looking for a step up in role within manufacturing ?

Looking for an assistant management accountant role that will allow you to get up from behind your desk and make a difference in your business with a strong operational focus?
We are currently working with a global manufacturing company based in Derby.

This role is brand new and will give the individual who is successful a chance to not only progress throughout the company but also development new skills in finance.

Responsibilities:

Produce and review monthly factory management accounts with Operations leadership team to aid decision making and monitor spend against budget
Produce weekly management information for the Board and investors
Develop and agree forecasts and budgets for Operations with budget holders for completion of the annual budget
Full management reporting responsibility for a Group subsidiary company including actuals, budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
Responsibility for control of Group capital expenditure authorisation process and maintenance of fixed asset register
Liaising with Design, Marketing and Operations to produce draft standard costs for commercial stop/go analyses
KPI preparation and interpretation for Executive Board, Board and Leadership team
Preparation of cash flow projections for certain Business Units
Monthly stock valuations and reconciliations
Developing the role and the department's output through suggesting new analyses, ways of working and streamlining existing routines and processes within the wider team
Finance input to crossfunctional ad hoc project teams
Support the wider finance team as required
