An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Worcester Acute Hospitalfor an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join their dynamic and welcoming team.
The trust is delighted to offer this opportunity to a passionateand forward thinking individual who has previous experience working within ahigh pressured, acute, inpatient setting and will be able to join the team andhit the ground running.
Main duties of the job
Working as an autonomous practitioner, to provide highquality patient focussed care through assessment, diagnosis, development anddelivery of individual treatment programmes.
To be able to apply knowledge and highly developedskills from a wide range of specialties respiratory, neurology, musculoskeletal out patients, care of theelderly dependant on given area of speciality underpinned by evidence.
To use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manualassessment techniques to establish accurate diagnosis.
To use judgemental skills and comprehensive knowledgeof physiotherapy treatments to formulate individual treatment programmes basedon evidence of best practice.
To demonstrate a high level of skill in dexterity, co ordination and sensory skillsto deliver appropriate treatmentsselected from a range of physiotherapeutic interventions normalmovement, motor relearning, manual therapy techniques, respiratory techniques,use of NIV, exercise therapy, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy dependant on areaof speciality.
To regularly evaluate the effectiveness of thetreatment plan and adjust the treatment accordingly.
