The South Ormsby Estate have an exciting opportunity for a Livestock Director to join the team.

Lincolnshire

Salary:
Competitive Salary

Hours: 39 per week

Holidays: 20 days plus 8 days statutory

The Estate's mission is to provide a mixed organic farming system to support an area of high biodiversity across both animals and plants, giving visitors opportunities to further their passions in understanding birds, butterflies, moths, insects, bats, mammals, fungi, flowers through tours and events showcasing the latest farming and techniques in this extraordinary setting.

Livestock Director - The Role:
The Estate is now looking for a real leader in the field of sustainability in livestock farming.

This role will involve representing South Ormsby Estate at regional, national and international events, lobbying government on green farming and advising the estate on the most innovative ways of reverting to a natural and sustainable farming ecosystem.

We want South Ormsby to be a world leader so we need a livestock focused farming and sustainability pioneer to come on board and help us achieve this ambition.

Livestock Director - Key Responsibilities:

Managing all of the heads of departments across livestock and sustainability
Representing South Ormsby during onsite events and local, national and international events
Ensuring South Ormsby are embracing their vision of sustainability
Supervising on all wildlife related matters
Embracing biodiversity and bringing
Working with other senior members of the team including our expert in arable farming and the retails and marketing manager commercial side of the business

Livestock Director - You:

A visionary and a leader in the field of wildlife, animals and biodiversity
Knowledgeable and credible on sustainable farming including organic and pasture for life
Passionate about green farming and all its potential
