Purpose


To provide research assistance to the PI for her ESRC funded grant 'Mediation of medical treatment disputes: a therapeutic justice model'.


Main duties and responsibilities:


The Senior Research Officer will be working on an exciting interdisciplinary project investigating the use of mediation in medical treatment disputes.

You will be working with Dr Jaime Lindsey, Associate Professor in Law, on her ESRC funded New Investigator Grant 'Mediation of medical treatment disputes:
a therapeutic justice model'.

The project draws on existing research from the mediation and Therapeutic Justice fields to consider whether, and to what extent, mediation might be a more therapeutic form of dispute resolution in the context of medical treatment disputes.


Supervision received:


Supervision will be conducted by Dr Jaime Lindsey and we will meet regularly, a minimum of once per week, with regular updates on progress also required.

This project will involve working closely with the PI and experience of co-working and team working is essential.
