Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop bespoke machinery solutions.
• Utilise your expertise in 3D CAD software to create detailed designs, technical drawings and models.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the manufacturing and assembly phases.
• Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of the machinery.
• Ensure design precision and compliance with GD&T standards.
• Perform detailed calculations and FEA to validate design performance.
• Engage in R&D initiatives, contributing to new product development and improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing of special purpose machinery or a related engineering sector.
• Proficiency in in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX) to create complex designs and assemblies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
