4RDigital is looking to grow and expand the team to support Cavex business and other greenfield projects that are quite exciting and impactful.

We are looking for a full-time Automated tester to join our experienced team and get hands-on exposure to cutting-edge innovation, centred on the next wave of digital finance.

You will be working alongside our product and engineering teams to ensure that our platform always delivers services that are of very good quality and follow industry best practices.

About the roleWe are looking for a results-driven Automated tester responsible for designing and developing tests to assess the quality of the deliverable through manual and automated testing.

To be successful in the role, you should have experience in building automated tests, a working knowledge of software and test design, and the ability to analyse the results and report the findings as part of the test report.

You are result-driven, have a keen eye for details and good communication skills, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of automated test development and organisation.

Key responsibilities The role of a tester in 4RDigital includes activities that validate and confirm the quality of the software and other related deliverables that are being released by the 4RDigital tech team.

Working with manual testers, developers, and SMEs to understand the business domain, and the system functionality.
Supporting the QA Lead ensuring the quality of the product being released by the 4RDigital tech team.

Actively collaborating with developers, product owners, Product managers, and other user representatives to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness.

Supporting the QA Lead ensuring the software meets the required standards as defined by the product requirements.
Designing and building a suite of automated tests.
Executing manual and automated tests to test the software being released.
Accurately evaluating and reporting test results, test progress, and product quality.
Working effectively to define testable user stories, especially acceptance criteria (using BDD), with customer representatives and stakeholders.
Collaborating with the team, working in pairs with programmers and other team members.
Responding to change quickly, including changing, adding, or improving test cases.
Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data.
Helping troubleshoot issues, reporting defects and working with the team to resolve them.
Ensuring the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled during release and iteration planning.
Conducting post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Supporting the Product management team through defect management and triaging process.
Role requirements Proven experience as an Automated Tester.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

Experience working with databases such as Azure SQL.Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., Azure DevOps) and SQL.Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.

Working knowledge of programming.
