The Opportunity:


Nigel Wright has been appointed exclusively to support an established professional services client in York with the recruitment of a Marketing and Communications Executive.

The position is a newly created role with an opportunity to develop a career in a rapidlygrowing and interesting business


Role Profile:


  • Significant onboarding, training and induction process for the new hire to educate them in the way this professional services organisation engages with its clients and the products and services it provides
  • An opportunity to develop within the role as the business continues to grow
  • Undertaking a range of communications and marketing activities
  • Brand profile and employer brand profile development
  • Managing projects including social media growth, brand management, digital marketing, SEO, internal communications, events
  • Supporting the professional service specialists with CRM management and new business leads

Person Specification:


  • A polished professional and articulate communicator both written and verbal
  • Hardworking with excellent attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated with ability to work in a busy environment
  • Agile with ability to work with different stakeholders and business partners
years marketing/communications experience

  • A marketing/communications qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • IT literate with experience of marketing/communication tools such as mailchimp/survey monkey
  • Experience of working in a professional services business
  • Commutable to York with a hybrid approach
