Production Manager - Material Supply

Salary:
£42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Days of Work:
Tuesday - Saturday

Our Bakkavor business in Boness, based near Falkirk, specialises in the production of fresh, high quality salad products working primarily with premium retailers.

To give you a sense for the scale of manufacturing in Boness we produce over 70million salad based meals and side dishes from our 2 manufacturing facilities employing over 1200 people in the town.

You will lead and motivate the teams and drive both individual and functional performance and material efficiency.
Leading and driving standards of quality, food safety, hygiene and housekeeping within your area through Good Manufacturing Practice (G.Engender an approach within the team that is production facing and that which would be expected from a support function.
Ensure stock value is understood and levels challenged in all units.
Liaise with production areas and support functions to pro-actively manage any upcoming issues.
Hold a regular Planning/Materials Control meeting.
Enhance the team performance through development, performance management and recruitment.

You will ideally have experience working in a food manufacturing environment and will have led teams in a fast paced manufacturing business.

You will be a great leader capable of inspiring and engaging your team, understanding the pressure of a factory environment.
