    Description

    HPC Systems Engineer - Linux, Networks & Storage - Hybrid working - Buckinghamshire - UK

    • Leading Technology Company specializing in High Performance Data-Centric Computing seeking experienced HPC Systems Engineer
    • Act as a bridge between development and infrastructure teams
    • Hands-on Linux Systems Administrator adept in on-prem and remote data-center configuration, patching, network, and security protocols
    • On-site for new hardware installations and high-level troubleshooting, with some flexibility for remote work
    • Hybrid role (60/40 split) with flexible work patterns

    Technical Experience Required:

    • Expert in Linux Systems Administration, O/S, and Infrastructure
    • Strong scripting skills in Python and BASH
    • Knowledge of HPC Storage protocols like NVMeOF, NVMe, TCP, RoCE
    • Experience with clustered or parallel file systems (GPFS, BeeGFS, Stornext, Lustre, NFS)
    • Cloud IaaS, CTDB, CI/CD, Ansible, Git, Elasticsearch, Prometheus & Grafana
    • Experience with Django/Flask is a plus
    • Proficient in documentation for playbooks and knowledge sharing
    • Excellent communication skills

    Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 per annum + benefits package
