An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to fill a brand new role that has been created to support partners of a world leading global law firm on the expansion of the firm's clean energy transactional practice, driving revenuegeneration programmes focused on winning more work and pan-European mandates from their client base and new prospects.

Financial Investors is the firm's fastest growing client segment and forms a critical part of the global business strategy.

The Financial Investors practice is supported by a team of marketing and business development professionals who help lawyers elevatetheir market profile, build the practice, retain and grow relationships and pursue and win new business opportunities with clients across the six key sectors of private equity, infrastructure, funds and asset managers, insurance, real estate and sovereignwealth funds.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the European clean energy M&A annual business plan and BD budget and will assist partners on internal and client-facing BD and financial reports as required.

The role will have a clientrelationship focus as you will manage a small group of growth clients active in the clean energy market, including creating client plans and revenue objectives, researching and analysing the client's business to identify new opportunities, relationship mapping,client feedback and leading team calls to monitor progress and actions.

The successful applicant will lead on the production of partner and client briefing notes, capability statements, pitches and RFPs, brochures and other marketing materials.

You will beexpected to monitor legal and commercial developments and assets coming to market and build successful marketing campaigns around these.

In addition, leading on the preparation of key directory and award submissions to maintain the group's market-leading profile,supporting the development and implementation of the group's publicity plan and overseeing the organisation of client events and conferences will represent key areas of focus.
