Vision FRis pleased to be assisting our client, a Global Media Agency with helping them find an
Accounts Assistant. This is a fab role for an Accounts Assistant who enjoys looking after the Accounts Payable function.


The role of the Accounts Assistant

Accounts Payable

  • Taking responsibility of all creditors and ensuring their accounts are 100% accurate at all times
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Preparing payments and sending out remittances
  • Obtaining relevant approvals and posting invoices
  • Posting payments when they have cleared the bank
  • Statement reconciliations to ensure everything on the ledgers is accurate
  • Dealing with any supplier/invoice queries in a fast and efficient manner
  • Build good relationships with your suppliers
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Expense claim management, obtain approvals and posting of expense
  • Meeting all deadlines for month end

Finance Operations

  • Supporting Job maintenance within finance system and process
  • Supporting other team members roles when they are on holiday
  • Keep a monthly track of time spent by ad hoc consultants
  • Update monthly FX rates
  • Manage centrally purchased subscriptions
  • Support IT team with an occasional project and ensuring relevant issues are recorded and dealt with in a timely manner

Requirements/Skills of the Accounts Assistant

  • Commercially astute & good with numbers
  • Robust and have broad shoulders
  • A selfstarter
  • Comfortable with dealing with numerous people from different countries around the world
  • Great attention to detail
  • Responsible and accountable for their own and others' work
  • Have an interesting in the marketing and advertising industry
  • Outstanding communicator with excellent English skills
  • Minimum of 2+ years in finance / Accounts Payable
