This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate engineer to join an established international business.My client is a highly successful global manufacturing business and an established leader at the forefront of the telecoms industry.
The main functions of this role is to provide product and technical support to external sales personnel, customers, and assist the business with the development and introduction of new products.
Power, Telecom, Underground drainage, and general purpose.Design, Development, and Introduction of new products into the product range helping maintain the businesses position as leading supplier in Power / Telecom UK sectors.
Establish test procedures for quality assurance of finished product to ensure products meet customer and industry standards.Provide field support where necessary including customer training. This will involve travel throughout the UK and occasional foreign travel.
Technical Sales:
costing & quotes including technical feasibility, quality requirements, tolerances, capacity, tooling planning & estimates, production time, material estimates and nurturing customer relationships
Skills & Experience:
Graduate calibre in a technical discipline or with equivalent industry experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company in a commercial engineering orientated role, providing lots of prospect for future career progression.
This role requires travel to customer sites and therefor a drivers licence is required.
