    Location: London, UK (1-2 days in the office per week)

    Role requires a Snr and a seasoned Senior Product Owner to spearhead the development and strategic direction of our client emerging investment management platform, which is poised to revolutionize the landscape with offerings such as stockbroking strategies, government securities (Gilts), SIPPs, ISAs, and more.

    Role demands direct experience in designing, developing, and launching solutions tailored to the stockbroking sector, including dealing with a wide range of third parties critical to stockbroking operations. It also requires a candidate with a proven track record in stockbroking, a deep understanding of the stockbroking competitive landscape, commercial drivers for platform businesses, and a client-centric approach in product development and will suit a visionary leader passionate about the fusion of technology and finance and the successful candidate will be a visionary leader with the skills to advance the platform offerings, addressing the dynamic demands of customers and the changing regulatory environment within the stockbroking industry. This includes knowledge across various investment vehicles such as indices, bonds, SIPPs, ISAs, ETFs, Gilts, and mutual funds, employing a diverse strategy that integrates Hybrid Models, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Business-to-Consumer (B2B2C), White Label Solutions, and API-Driven Partnerships.

    • A proven track record in the stockbroking industry, coupled with an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory frameworks
    • Exceptional leadership abilities, enabling you to inspire and guide stakeholders across all organizational levels
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to make informed, data-driven decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities, empowering you to articulate intricate concepts and forge consensus among diverse teams

    • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to execute multifaceted projects

    Key responsibilities:

    • Oversee the stockbroking product backlog, strategically prioritizing initiatives based on their alignment with our client's overarching objectives and potential impact
    • Spearhead the conceptualization, development, and deployment of cutting-edge stockbroking products and services, encompassing UK Govt Gilts and Corporate bonds, International Dealing/Multicurrency, IPOs, and Limit Order optimizations
    • Foster collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to pinpoint areas for service enhancement and champion the execution of improvements
    • Cultivate and nurture relationships with third-party providers, including WBS, Broadridge, ETF Providers, Investment Trust Providers, and Market Makers (RSPs), ensuring seamless integration and peak performance
    • Conceptualize and implement enhancements for the Broadridge shareholder rights and Designated Brokerage services
    • Contribute to the ongoing expansion of new brokerage assets on the retail platform and oversee the partnership with Morningstar for online retail factsheets
    • Serve as co-chair of the monthly Order Execution Group meetings, guaranteeing the accurate recording and dissemination of minutes to the committee and relevant stakeholders
    • Generate and deliver precise and timely brokerage MI to various stakeholders throughout the organization, while continuously exploring opportunities for automation and process improvement
    • Foster a culture of employee engagement and customer-centricity within the team and across the organization
