    We are currently dealing with a Client Organization who are looking at recruiting a Configurations Manager to work on the new High Speed Rail project, with the role being based in Birmingham operating hybrid working.

    As the Configurations Manager you'll coordinate change to technical requirements and technical baselines across construction contracts.

    You'll progressively verify and validate the evidence submitted by the respective contracts and their Integrated Project Teams that sets out how those changes have been implemented and configured within the contracts.


    You'll join a well-established team, that sits within the Systems Integration Team, with around 13/14 working within the Configurations sphere, operating at Configuration Controllers, Configurations Managers and Senior Configurations Managers.

    Typical job duties for the role can include, but not limited to:
    To manage and coordinate the process of change to technical requirements and technical baselines across the delivery contracts.
    To ensure the relevant approved technical change and configuration management processes are instructed to the respective supply chain.
    Receive and maintain Configuration Status Reports (CSRs) submission from the supply chain.
    Work collaboratively with stakeholders and third parties in managing the configuration of technical requirements/artifacts within respective contract areas. Job Requirements Experience of managing Requirements and the oversight and implementation of assurance processes on infrastructural projects.
    Experience of liaising with contractors and designers.
    Experience of multi-discipline, cross functional programmes
    Experience working within Configurations role within Engineering, with sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, Rail, and General Engineering applicable.

    Comfortable dealing with stakeholders As mentioned, this role is working on the New Highspeed Rail project, with the role being based in Birmingham operating on a hybrid basis so could candidates in the surrounding West Midland areas such as Solihull, Derby or similar.
