    Description

    What you'll be doing:

    • As the Finance Business Partner you will report directly into the Finance Director
    • Role will help integrate and drive the overall Performance Framework , leading
    and managing a small team to provide high level information and business analysis to drive
    the strategy, operational performance and improvement plans

    • Provide support to the 5-year business plan process. Role will provide functional subject matter expert support to wider business change programs to ensure clear outcomes, underpinned with robust business cases
    • Support the Sales and Operations process (including improvement activity) and support the
    Finance Director in the integration of activities and interface/also acting as a conduit into our Finance Capability Centres

    • Engaging cross functionally, with Senior Managers and Budget Holders, to drive business
    improvements.

    • Use business acumen to provide financial challenge of any new business activity to enable
    approval of pricing proposals and delivery of the business strategy balancing customer need
    with maximising shareholder value

    • Provide Finance business partner support to the Integrated Operations Directors and Senior
    Managers in Integrated Operations to drive performance improvement

    Your skills and experiences:
    Essential


    • Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA
    • Demonstrated ability to influence the business with a proactive and inquisitive nature
    • Demonstrable experience in being able to respond quickly to changing and challenging
    customer requirements

    • Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and good team player
    • Ability to explain financial issues to non-Finance staff and to distil complex issues,
    opportunities and challenges in a succinct, compelling narrative
    Desirable

    • Experience of working in a manufacturing company and/or large PLC environment
    • Experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Finance staff and providing
    decision support to stakeholders

    • Experience in supporting the delivery of long term complex programs/projects
    • Experience in establishing and driving program performance through integrated teams
