    Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Manager to join a NHS organisation and play a pivotal role in the success of their Trust Integration Engine project.


    Responsibilities:

    • Developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the integration engine.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, suppliers, and connected system owners, to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
    • Designing and executing both manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and security.
    • Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools and working with the development team to resolve them efficiently.
    • Managing the testing process throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Monitoring and reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
    • Continuously improving the testing process by identifying and implementing best practices and tools.
    • Mentoring and guiding junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role.
    • A strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
    • Experience with testing web services.
    • Proficiency in creating and executing both manual and automated test cases.
    • Experience with test automation tools.
    • Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
    • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

    Job Details:

    • Remote based but travel to BSPS sites may be required
    • Contract Length – 7 months
    • Outside of IR35
