Project Manager (CAPEX) - Manufacturing - Staffordshire - £55,000 to £65,000 + Benefits

About the Company & Role

Our client is an established manufacturing business with a strong pedigree of supplying a range of products into the Construction and Building industry sectors.

As part of a programme of ongoing development and investment they are now looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Management professional with extensive experience of managing Capital Investment projects within Medium to Heavy Engineering environments.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a range of major capital investment projects across a variety of sites in the UK, managing the complete project lifecycle from design and planning stages right through to installation and commissioning, witha focus on improving engineering processes, machinery improvements and factory machinery upgrades.


Project Manager (CAPEX) - The Rewards

  • Basic Salary in the region of £55,000 to £65,000 DOE

Project Manager (CAPEX) - Requirements

  • Educated to Degree level in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with a strong understanding of engineering and machinery maintenance
  • PRINCE2 Certified
  • Previous experience of working within a project focussed role within an engineering and manufacturing environment where production output and delivery is key
  • Previous experience in managing a team of multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance engineers
  • Previous experience of Managing high value CAPEX and DMAIC projects
  • Strong understanding and experience of LEAN Manufacturing
  • CMMS Experience
  • PLC / Controls Systems experience would be extremely beneficial
  • Strong reporting, financial and budget experience
