    We currently have a vacancy for Band Community Nurse within the East Area Evening Nursing Service. The Evening Nursing Service work across Wrexham and Flintshire counties and are based in Wrexham. The shift commences at pm – pm although there will be a need to be flexible to support the Overnight Service as required.

    Informal visits are welcome. Community experience is desirable.

    The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

    Main duties of the job

    The team respond to both planned and unplanned nursing needs palliative care, catheter care, supportive nursing visits to monitor patient stability and give support to both formal and informal carers. The aim of the service is to provide high quality nursing care during out of hour's periods and reduce the need for unnecessary hospital admissions.
