    Procurement Manager / Purchasing Manager
    GBP52,000 to GBP60,000 per annum, plus Bonus, Life Assurance, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), Pension
    Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week

    We are currently recruiting an exciting and rare opportunity to join a growing company who are in search of a Procurement Manager to join their fast-moving machining and aerospace manufacturing environment.

    The role covers the whole spectrum of procurement and supplier management, including responsibility for developing and managing the purchase process, management of supplier agreements, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, managing suppliers, and team.

    # Ensure clear requirements, mitigate risks, and collaborate with relevant departments and directors.
    # To ensure the production, engineering, stores and logistic departments comply with Group and plant Health and Safety policies and procedures.
    # Responsible for demand and shortfall planning, and communications.
    # Establish procurement processes.
    # Delivery of procurement risk mitigation plans and opportunity management.
    # Review and process purchase orders for suppliers in relation to Works Orders (WO) (suppliers & sub-contractors).
    # Securing good procurement deals.
    # Responsible for supply chain management. Evaluates (and regularly appraise) suppliers based on quality, timeliness, and price.
    # Schedules deliveries and ensures OTDIF (on time delivery in full).
    # Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
    # Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company.
    # Procurement Manager, in a relevant industry - must be machining or production or manufacturing environments. ERP and Microsoft experience. Ability to develop and evaluate procurement and supply chain reports from IFS / SAP and Microsoft applications.
