    In the UK we are currently over 300 strong and our plans are to grow to by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offerings.

    Due to our ongoing projects at Hinkley Point C, we are looking to appoint a permanent HSE Advisor.

    Reporting to the HSE Manager, the key objective of the role will be to support the Framatome workforce to enable them to maintain its legally complaint status with an engaged workforce.

    As the HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for the following key areas:
    Systems
    Develop, maintain and suggest improvements of current HSE management processes and procedures
    Deploy the management system requirements on site
    Track actions and Non-Conformance Reports
    Verify the effectiveness of action taken, improvements and document control
    Development of supporting information to enable quick, easy to read information of HSE requirements
    Assurance
    Tracking and championing Performance Standards set in projects
    Conduct verification checks on site against life-saving rules, client standards, HSE Plans, RAMS
    Technical Advice
    ~ Provide technical advice based on legislation, ACoPs, British Standards etc to site personnel

    Training
    Coach and mentor site supervision personnel in HSE practices, roles and responsibilities
    Assist with developing internal training and awareness and delivering where required
    Engagement and Culture
    Develop and implement a variety of communication methods e.g. noticeboards, meetings, working groups
    Assist with the development and implementation of a behavioral based safety model based on company values and HSE rules
    Personally strengthen networking opportunities within the industry and safety peers
    You are
    To be considered we require the following qualifications:
    ~ IOSH Working Safely (essential)


    Technical Skills:
    A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – knowledge of SharePoint would be an advantage
    Previous workplace experience (mechanical or fabrication may be an advantage)
    Excellent team working skills
    Highly organised with attention to detail
    Good communication and interpersonal skills including influencing and presenting
    Motivated and driven
    Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines.
    Logical thinking
    Discretion, ability to maintain confidentiality


    PLEASE NOTE:
    This position will be permanently based on a nightshift
    7.00pm – 6.00am -Monday – Friday
