This a Generalist HR Administrative role working with an HR team, supporting with recruitment compliance and general admin tasks.

You will be home based but required to attend a monthly team meeting in one of our braches in either Newcastle, South Shields or Sunderland.


Typical duties include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up to date employee records via our Digital HR system
  • Maintaining departmental spreadsheets, databases and other documents.
  • Support with the administration of issuing contracts, requesting references and conducting DBS checks,.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with all levels of stakeholders
  • Logical and efficient
  • Very strong organisational and time management skills, able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines.
  • A 'can do' attitude with enthusiasm for providing great customer service.
  • A sound back ground in general administration
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and information
  • Great communication skills and able to support individuals experiencing problems in their lives.
  • Someone who loves working with people and making a positive difference to the people in our communities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise a high volume of work load.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience of Right to Work legislation.


Dependent upon experience within an HR related role to date, if you are looking to progress your career in HR we will provide support and training to undertake a L3 CIPD qualification via an apprenticeship programme.
