    Description

    Overview

    Pragmatic is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join its growing Finance team and support the business in the next phase of its journey.

    With a particular focus on Manufacturing & Operations, the Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful analysis, giving the business greater financial visibility and supporting informed decision making.

    Key elements of the role include but are not limited to, the provision of key management information and analysis, co-ordination of the Manufacturing & Operations forecasting cycle, and ownership of the product cost long range model.

    Key tasks

    • Business Partnering – Provision of robust and insightful analysis to enable Manufacturing & Operations senior leaders to understand financial results and make informed decisions
    • Management information and analysis – Provision of detailed variance analysis relating to direct and indirect costs. Preparation and presentation of monthly reporting packs to budget holders
    • Company budgeting and forecasting cycle – Co-ordination and delivery of the Manufacturing & Operations annual budget and monthly forecast updates
    • Business Models – Ownership of the long-range product cost model. Key involvement in updates to the long-range strategic plan
    • Continuous Improvement -Development of FP&A models and processes
    • Undertaking of projects and ad hoc analysis as required

    Qualifications and training

    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified

    Skills and experience

    • Highly focused, hands-on individual with strong attention to detail
    • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
    • Highly organised and disciplined with an ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Previous experience in FP&A or Business Partnering role
    • Collaborative approach, able to build strong relationships, influence key stakeholders & challenge constructively
    • Advanced modelling and analytical skills using Microsoft Excel
    • Experience using an ERP
