CNC MACHINIST - MILLER / TURNER / APPRENTICE

PROGRAMMER'S / SETTER'S / OPERATOR'S

MULTIPLE POSITIONS

SALARY

£13.00 to £18.00 per hour (All machining grades considered).
DAYS ROLE - 39 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 16:30pm.

Friday 07:30am to 13:00pm.

Overtime available (Average 7 hours per week).

JOB SUMMARY

Due to continued success and work orders being confirmed, Alecto Recruitment are looking for CNC Machinists in the Blackburn area for a new client.

The company have had recent funding and have invested in new plant and machinery to become as versatile as can be to offer services to all customers.

A high quality sub-contracting precision engineering company with services of CNC Machining, Fabrication, Repair and Servicing etc.

Currently the client is looking for NEWLY APPRENTICE TRAINED/QUALIFIED machinists and CNC PROGRAMMING Millers/Turners to join their busy machine shop team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform required tasks.
Load Raw materials and parts onto the machine.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Experience in cutting a wide range of materials.
Understand technical drawings to complete work to the desired result.
Supervise the machines while they execute tasks and adjust where necessary.

SKILLS

Have working knowledge of FANUC controls.
Able to use all handheld precision measuring equipment.
Understanding of tolerances, geometric and surface finishing requirements
Knowledgeable and experience using HAAS machinery.
