Trainee Paraplanner - Falklirk - Office based
Salary up to £30,000 plus benefits and bonus

Trainee Paraplanner required by a growing wealth management firm in Falkirk. You will provide technical and administration support to a team of financial planners.

When fully trained, responsibilities will include:

Deal with general client queries and attend weekly handover meetings within your designated team
Analyse clients' requirements, develop cash flow models and accurately record client data
Research and analyse financial products to meet client requirements and objectives
Construct financial planning solutions (investment, retirement, tax and estate planning) supported by the production of computer models and reports
Prepare client reviews, updating cash flow models, investment performance reviews and production of supporting reports, discussion documents and computer models
Check any plan information against the relevant checklists following the letter of authority to see what information may be outstanding in order to analyse the plans.
Call ceding scheme providers to request outstanding policy information for client
Prepare suitability letters and reports (liaising with financial planners), taking responsibility for the client files and back office IT records throughout the advice process

Knowledge and experience:

Willingness to study towards level 4 Diploma Qualification
Experience of financial service products (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Computer literate, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
