Role Summary:

It's an exciting time at Badminton England as we roll out our new strategy, and we're currently searching for a Performance Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis hours per week).

This role will be critical in ensuring that we continue to deliver outstanding experiences in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional role.


The main objective of this role is to provide administrative support to the performance function within Badminton England with a particular emphasis on administration and operations & logistics.


Key responsibilities, main tasks and activities:

Private International Entries:

  • Coordination of tournament entries
  • Support team squad entries to international tournaments in liaison with National Coaching team
  • Support any further private entries to tournaments
  • Provide a central point of contact for all private entries
  • Coordination of Badminton Membership in relation to tournament entry
  • Setting up tournament templates on Tournament Software
  • Ensure entries are correct and adhere to strict timelines for entry deadlines
  • Raise PO's and invoices when required
  • Provide support to the Badminton England Performance Operations
  • Collating information for meetings
  • Tracking player results for selection/review meetings

Performance Co-ordination / Administration:

  • Coordination of Tournaments and Championships arrangements
  • Organise travel and accommodation for players, coaches and support staff
  • Support in tracking event costs
  • Support in administrative preparation for major/multisport events
  • Coordination of Training Camp
  • Coordinate logístical organisations of training camps for England Performance and England Junior Performance Programmes
  • Budget Management
  • Manage timely authorisation of invoices and POs when required
  • Support in tracking costs throughout the Programmes
  • Support in processing monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Team Communications
  • Manage the use of Hive and keep communications updated for EJP players, family and coaches
  • Ensure the relevant pages on the website is up to date
  • Performance Programme Support
  • Support in tracking and maintaining player results for review and selection meetings
  • Assist in the implementation of UKAD Education Strategy
  • Support in managing the team kit distribution
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • Ability to multitask working across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently, whilst putting our sport and people at the heart of all we do.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels
  • Strong team player that is flexible and adaptable dependent on the needs of the team.
  • You're able to selfdirect, motivate and work productively with mínimal supervision.

£20,000-£23,000 Depending on experience


Hours:

We're all about output so we have Hybrid working and flexible hours in place - it's a full-time role hours per week), but we understand that people have lives outside of Badminton England - please talk to us about what you need. We can't promise anything, but we're open to a discussion about how we can support you.

The current hybrid working arrangements are at least 3 days a week in the office (with the core day being Thursday) at National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
