    Description

    The Production Technician will be responsible for the manufacture, modification and repair of the complete WIKA Electrical Temperature (ETM) product range. The role will be multifunctional as workload demands, to maximise business performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • To carry out manufacturing and assembly of Electrical Temperature products as detailed by production orders, within the agreed delivery dates and in accordance with company process.
    • To assist in repairs and refurbishments of customer returns and the generation of detailed reports when required.
    • To calibrate and certify when required the complete WIKA ETM product range to the specified accuracy.
    • To ensure that the ETM Procedure and Work Instructions are adhered to.
    • Maintain traceability and quality of all materials used throughout the manufacturing process.
    • Work efficiently at all times and strive to ensure on time delivery of product is maintained.
    • Actively contribute to the company's 5S culture and ideals.
    • Maintain quality in line with respective QA procedures and adhere to the Health and Safety policy of the business.
    • Carry out any tasks that may from time to time, be requested by Senior Management, in order to ensure the smooth running of all departments within the business.
    Candidate Profile:
    • Experience in manufacturing using raw materials and small components.
    • Multifunctional role based on workload demands and flexibility within tasks is essential.
    • Knowledge of general workshop machinery and hand tool operation – welding, turning and brazing would be beneficial.
    • Must be a good communicator and work well in a team.
    • Experience in a quality controlled environment is preferable.
    • Must have a positive and enthusiastic approach, be self-motivated and enjoy the opportunity to use own initiative.
    • Must be organised and skilled in time management, able to effectively prioritise and manage workloads.
    • Ideal candidate is someone looking for a permanent, long term position.
    • 37 working hours per week: 07.30am – 15.30pm Monday – Thursday, 07.30am – 15:00 Friday (30 mins for lunch)
    • Paid overtime available for this role.
