Description
We are seeking a candidate for a role in a financial planning practice in Poole. They are looking to fill a Senior Administrator/Trainee Paraplanner position.
Requirements:
- Working towards relevant financial planning qualification
- Understanding of financial planning processes
- Ability to work within defined business processes
- Report writing ability and experience
- Capacity to achieve outcomes without supervision
- Strong customer communication skills
- Broad financial services experience, preferably with an IFA
- IT proficiency
- Flexibility and perseverance
- Knowledge of general compliance and FCA requirements
Role details:
- Preparing and managing client files
- Conducting research for client meetings, including:
- Ensuring all compliance and product paperwork is complete
- Compiling financial planning options
- Presenting completed files to Practice Principle
- Post-meeting debriefs and note-taking
- Providing post-meeting summaries to clients
- Maintaining accurate task workflows
Preparing & Implementing recommendations:
- Identifying planning areas
- Researching suitable solutions
- Preparing information/comparisons
- Liaising with client's legal and tax advisers
- Implementing client investment changes
- Preparing suitability letters for various transactions
- Completing application forms and proposals
- Ensuring compliance paperwork is complete
- Submitting files for compliance checks
- Sending paperwork to providers for prompt implementation
- Acting as main technical point of contact for clients and handling queries effectively
- Building strong client relationships
- Organizing planning meetings with clients
- Reviewing investment portfolios, asset allocation, risk profiles, etc.
