    Multi Site Supported Living Registered Manager

    Based in Newham

    Autism and Learning Disabilities experience essential

    Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready for the next step in your career? With at least 2 years proven experience we are looking for a manager to join our team to lead a supported living service across two locations.

    Services

    One location provides independent flats and supports 8 young adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities with complex behavioural needs.

    The second location provides individual flats for 4 adults with learning disabilities.

    Overview of the role

    As the Registered Manager you are legally responsible for the operational day to day management of the services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including CQC, Health and Social Care regulations and Precious Homes policies and procedures. It is an expectation that Registered Managers are a visible presence across both locations, actively leading and coaching staff proactively.

    Responsibilities

    • To develop and maintain a high-quality service level for the people we support, your team and for CQC.
    • Develop effective working relationships for the people we support, your team, local authorities, 3rd parties, and CQC.
    • To carry out regular audits to monitor and manage service performance.
    • Where service improvements are identified, to report and action ensuring the Service Improvement Plan is updated regularly.
    • To always ensure that service delivery is person centred and evidenced in support plans, rotas, staff and service meetings, inductions, training and in the culture of the service.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with the people we support, their families and stakeholders through regular contact and feedback.
    • To ensure support plans, risk assessments and documentation is reviewed and updated regularly.
    • To ensure supervisions and appraisals are completed in an effective and timely manner in line with the service matrix.
    • To ensure that all necessary records are complete, accurate and legible, and available to authorised persons when required.
    • To ensure clear understanding of MCA and DoLS.
    • To lead on and participate in the on call for the service.
    • To build relationships with stakeholders, families and people we support.
