OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


  • To ensure that the fabric of the building is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • To be involved where necessary to clean and sterilise miscellaneous equipment and machinery.

HOUSEKEEPING

MACHINERY CLEANLINESS

GENERAL CLEANLINESS


To ensure all areas of the factory internal and external are kept free from obstruction by refuse and to remove such to despatch area for collection on an ongoing basis throughout the day.


To ensure all hand wash stations are kept clean with an adequate supply of bactericidal soap and hand towels at all times.

To ensure that the boot washing facility is kept clean and water free-flowing


To dismantle "in a safe manner so as to avoid the risk of injury to oneself and others" machinery and to clean and sanitise such machinery to correct high standard.


To ensure that miscellaneous equipment, ie cooling racks, and baskets are cleaned on an on-going basis to prevent cross contamination and foreign body control.

To ensure that all walls, ceilings, coving strips, door handles etc are kept hygienically clean on an on-going basis. To ensure drains are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. To ensure that all cleaning apparatus is kept clean and stored in correct manner. Ensure the cleanliness of the external area of the factory is maintained and is litter free.


The hours are Mon - Fri 18:00pm - 1:45am the rate of pay is £10.70 P/H between 18:00pm and 10:00pm, then £11.20 P/H from 10:00pm to 1:45am.

Own transport is needed due to our location and lack of public transport.


Salary:
£10.70-£11.20 per hour
