This is a 6 month contract position.
To help implement and interpret the Shein creative vision through makeup and hair styling of digital photoshoots
Lead and mentor junior HMUA, developing their technical skills and inspiring them to produce leading creative output

To understand and maintain best practices, not only to achieve very high standards of styling and creative imagery but also to maintain agreed efficiencies within the studios.

Oversee and execute hair and makeup styles across all fashion sets within the studio on a daily basis. Demonstrate strong technical and creative skills across hair and makeup and an understanding of forward thinking ways of working.
Have knowledge of current hair and makeup trends, interpreting and executing styles in line with the Shein creative vision

Maintain and encourage a positive 'can do' atmosphere in the studios, which is conducive to high production levels excellent quality of work.

Hold morning briefs with Hair and Make-up team, setting and assigning styles and goals for the day
Maintain efficiencies within the studios and be a point of contact for Hair and Make-up queries
Responsible for briefing and leading freelance team members daily on best practice
Attention to detail is crucial, maintaining a very high quality of imagery across the board is essential
Own the studio Hair and makeup consumables, ensuring required equipment and product is always on hand and maintained.
5+ years hair styling and make-up experience
~ Excellent hair styling and makeup techniques and a very strong creative visual focus
~ Salon and session experience with a strong creative portfolio
~ Strong fashion and trend knowledge
~ BTEC National Diploma Hair Level 2 with a strong product knowledge would be beneficial

A portfolio of creative work will be required on application.
