    Job summary

    The Project Management Assistant will work with the Digital Transformation Programme Manager(s) to support delivery of the digital transformation programme and be responsible for providing assistance to the programme and projects in the following areas:

  • Maintaining and updating programme and project documentation
  • To represent the Digital Transformation team at Trust, community and other events as required.
  • Negotiates with and motivates stakeholders on project delivery, including linking in with other initiatives.
  • To coordinate / manage low level change activity of the much wider programme as identified by the Programme Manager
  • Must be willing to work across all our sites
  • Main duties of the job

    1. To review and update programme and projects risks and issues as required with key stakeholdersto ensure they are Plan and organise programme and project meetings, ensuring documentation is produced to a highquality and distributed in a timely Where appropriate, to support the change control process; ensuring documentation is completed toa high standard and change logs are accurate

    4. Produce and make presentations to key stakeholders where Supports, facilitates, and monitors progress of Update and review programme and project budgets, working with project managers and other keystakeholders to ensure forecasting remains To provide support to Project Manager(s) on specific project(s).8. To manage and own specific elements of projects9. Create programme and project documentation, including reports for both internal and externalstakeholders10. Follow up on actions from programme and project meetings to ensure they are completed in atimely To contribute to the development of a culture where organisational change programmes driveDigital Undertake project audits where requested either by the Programme Manager or SeniorResponsible Owner13. Develop policies and protocols for own work area / proposes project changes which impact acrossthe sector

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Education to diploma in relevant area or to demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Prince2 qualification or commit to work towards this within the first 12 months.
  • Desirable

  • Evidence of ongoing personal development.
  • Education to degree in relevant area or to demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Previous Experiance

    Essential

  • Previous experience of project delivery and support
  • Experience of collaborative working with other organisations, colleagues, suppliers and customers in the delivery of aims and objectives.
  • Evidence of the budget management
  • Desirable

  • Previous NHS experience
  • Previous experience of working on complex programmes
  • Previous experience of working on digital projects
  • Knowledge and Skills

    Essential

  • Good communication skills including evidence of dealing with senior colleagues and involving other stakeholders from within and external to the organisation
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to understand complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Use of a range of IT applications to create reports.
  • Previous experience in evaluating and analysing information
  • Evidence of policy / changes to own or departmental working practices
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
